At Martial Arts Queensland our main focus is the enhancement of children’s physical skills and abilities. We do this by teaching modern scientific principles of health, fitness and human movement. Training with Martial Arts Queensland will increase your child’s: standing and seated posture, coordination, discipline, agility and relations with others.

We specialise in fitness for children over the ages of 5 focusing on self defence techniques presented in a sporting environment, designed primarily to increase the child’s physical capabilities (strength, flexibility, endurance). The kids program is geared towards fitness using basic techniques of the martial arts.          

Our programmes will guide your child towards greater confidence and discipline as they improve their balance, flexibility and stability in a structured yet open minded environment. Sensei Cugola’s long experience in teaching young children means he’s a good choice to instruct your child.  

During the training process we follow a structured program which will provide a foundation in the martial arts and guide your child to success. At Martial Arts Queensland your child will gain experience at how to make the safest possible choices when responding to non-verbal, verbal and physical attacks.

Martial Arts Queensland using proven techniques for self defence, practical fear management and formation of a successful attitude in our students for effective, safe, real Self-Defence.

The techniques and concepts presented in our classes are reality based. Sensei Cugola has extensive experience as a security officer & doorman and knows whether a technique will work in the real world or only on the dojo (training hall) mat.
