How do I get to wear the red and white belt?

This belt is awarded to the student who goes out of their way to do something during the lesson that they would not normally do e.g. Kiai loudly when they are normally very quiet, total concentration and maximum effort are required as well, or helping out their fellow students in tying their belts etc.  These are only a few examples of what a student can do to be awarded the belt.  It is important to note that students receive the belt when they have proven that they can act above and beyond their expected ability and behaviour

At the end of the year we have an awards night for all the students of our school.  Listed below are the awards that will be presented:

All students (except the sensei awards) will be honored by having there photo displayed in the school for 1 year.

Junior Defence Student of the Year Awarded to the most dedicated and most improved over the year.
Adult Student of the Year Awarded to the most dedicated and most improved over the year.
Little Warrior of the Year Awarded to the most dedicated and most improved Little Warrior over the year.
   
Most consistent Little Warrior To the most consistent Little Warrior.
Most improved Little Warrior To the most improved Little Warrior.
   
Most improved Defence To the most improved Defence student.
Most consistent Defence To the most consistent Defence student.
   
Most dedicated The student who shows the most dedication to the martial arts.
Sensei awards Sensei's will pick their choices. 6 awards are up for grabs.
   
Junior Competitor of the Year To the most successful junior competitor.
Senior Competitor of the Year To the most successful senior competitor.
   
STOW Award Awarded to the student who receives the student of the week belt the most often.
